Copies/Restorations

Do you have a treasured photograph that is now showing signs of wear and the passage of time? It may be an old mini-print that has been stuffed into your wallet, or it may be a framed colour or black and white picture that has faded badly, or become stained or torn and damaged whilst stored in an attic or shed.
A lot of our customers discover old family photographs which now, many years after they were taken, are perhaps the only tangible memory of past generations. Often original black and white negatives, and sometimes cracked and dusty glass plates are discovered and the local photolab are unable to make prints for you. If so, don't despair. We are experts in the rescue and restoration of old pictures, and even torn up or extensively damaged pictures can be magically improved.

Your picture is safely digitised in a harmless process which gives us an image on which to carry out the subsequent restoration. Once completed, we can produce further copies, if needed, at our normal reprint rates. Our charges for restorations are based on the time involved and we will be happy to give you a free quotation upon seeing the original picture.
